Meet Dr. Savannah Carlson

I founded Rhea Physical Therapy to help my clients overcome pelvic floor dysfunction so they can reach their full potential at home, work, and play. Pelvic floor problems tend to rob us of our freedom—our freedom to wear what we want, go where we want, and do what we want. My passion is helping women, children, and families regain their freedom through evidence-based, compassionate care. I earned my doctorate in physical therapy at Washington University in St. Louis, and I am a member of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. I am also a Registered Yoga Instructor and Certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach.

Testimonials

Before working with Savannah, I had struggled to find care for my pelvic pain; I had seen three pelvic floor practitioners and not found a space where I felt comfortable and supported. From our first phone conversations to our at home sessions, Savannah created space for me to communicate openly enough to really explore solutions. Care with Savannah was succinct and plan based—after just two home visits we had worked to locate/identify my pain and create an exercise plan for care, leaving me with the information I needed for continued healing. After setting an initial plan, Savannah has checked back in periodically to see how my case has developed; she understands that healing is a process and has provided support over time as I work through healing on my own. After years of being stuck with pain and misinformation I feel I now have someone to confide in and ask questions, what a blessing! Thank you Savannah for your work. " —A.T.
